Educational Tours
Space Camp from King Travels is an 10 Day educational extravaganza with 6 days in Houston and 5 days in Florida. This unique camp is designed to provide participants knowledge about the latest developments in space research through visits to Nasa's Kennedy and Johnson space centers, interaction with scientists and astronauts and more. The camp also provides a fun element with visits to Universal Studios and Disney World in Florida.
The space camp includes the following modules
Space School
Space School is designed to take the students through a challenging week-long exploration of their own engineering talents. Focus is on teamwork, problem solving, communication and adaptation to unexpected problems. Throughout the program, students must work within a NASA budget; knowing that funds or supplies for their projects may be decreased at any time due to budget cuts, OSHA safety regulations, or any other excuse deemed necessary by the staff to make the experience truly dynamic and representative of NASA engineering.
The students of the Space Center Houston's Space School will find themselves on an engineering mission to create the means to land a rover on the surface of Mars, analyze rock samples with a Reflectance Spectrometer, loft a rock sample into Martian orbit, and return back to Earth in a rocket of their own design.
Kennedy Space Center
John Glenn, Neil Armstrong, Sally Ride and Jim Lovell are just a few names of the brave men and women that have launched into space from Kennedy Space Center, and now it's your turn to become a part of the space program. Your full day of exploration includes real space hardware, authentic attractions, inspiring exhibits and hands-on experiences that will make KSC the highlight of your Florida vacation.

In back-to-back IMAX® theaters, you'll feel the thrill of space exploration on five-story screens as you "float" right alongside NASA Astronauts. On our guided tours into exclusive areas, you'll get a behind the-scenes look at Kennedy Space Center's working space flight facilities.
